Gas Nucleation Units
The ratio between isocyanate and polyol has a drastic affect on the finished product. Dissolved gases in a polyol liquid, such as Nitrogen, can help in controlling foam cell size and stability of the reaction. Our nucleation system is designed to introduce a gas into the polyol solution. The process can achieve up to 15% reduction of the Polyol density. With no moving parts other than a fluid pump, the system is very reliable, and low maintenance.
The system is self contained and can be retrofitted to any metering unit. We can also supply the system complete with a gas generator, eliminating the need to purchase new canisters.
